Deniz Akkoyun is the 20th Miss Nederland. The favorite of the crowd Miss Overijssel became first runner up and Miss Noord Holland became second runner up. The great show was hosted by populair singer Bastiaan Ragas, who is married to Miss Overijssel 1996 Tooske Breughem. The last round of competition was also the best one! So saved the best for last! The girls showed beautifull dresses designed by the great Erol Albayrak who was also a member of the jury.
Poll results: 1: Maaike Heethaar, Miss Overijssel 2: Fabiënne Jungerhans, Miss Drenthe 3: Daphne Kolader, Miss Limburg The poll was dominated by Maaike. She got 36 procent of the votes.
