In 2008 Eva van Binsbergen won the Miss Civilization of the World pageant in Turkey. We were very proud and happy when we found out that Miss Earth Netherlands 2004 Saadia Himi would represent the Netherlands in 2009. Saadia is still very beautiful and she is a very nice and sincere person. We always will remember how she graced the cover of our "12 Months of Beauty" calendar in 2008 and how fun it was when we did the photoshoot. Saadia was a big favorite among the audience and among the other participants who competed in the pageant. Unfortunately she did not make it to the finals. The winner of this edition of the pageant was Miss Germany. The Netherlands will also be represented in 2010. Miss BeNeLux organiser Stephanie Moreel will choose the girl who will be Miss Civilization of the World Netherlands 2010, probably out of the Miss BeNeLux 2010 candidates. |
