Meet Linda Gausachs – Grandia

Linda Gausachs – Grandia (35 years old) was Miss Holland 1992, Mrs Globe Netherlands 2009 and is the new Mrs World Netherlands 2010 for the international Mrs World pageant in Korea this year. She is a happily married woman, stephmother of 2 sons(13 and 17), sales and marketing executive and businesswoman in the art, fashion and beauty industry. 

Since december 2009 Linda is working as a senior account manager for Gaastra; her background in fashion includes big names like Mexx, Marco Polo, S.Oliver and other international brands in Europe. Her background in management and business led in the end that she started to study for her Master’s degree in Businees and Administration (MBA) 

Linda loves art, fitness and singing. She also studied for a while at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague to be a ballet dancer ; she has a passion for latin music and dance.

Linda’s interest in nonprofit work and charities started when she represented her country in Japan as Miss Holland; this new role, to help and support others, gives her much fulfillment.

During the International Mrs Globe pageant in Slovakia, she decided to start Women In Need (WIN) in the Netherlands so women who were abused can get back their selfrespect and independance through proved training programmes. Besides that she will search for the new Mrs Globe Netherlands who will represent the Netherlands in Cyprus this year. The winner will be the face of WIN for this year.

Linda hopes to get more media attention for WIN, participating in the Mrs World pageant in Korea. Drs Bartels, who is cosmetic surgeon at Cosmetic Lines in Utrecht, has offered to sponsor Linda to increase her chance to win, and thus be able to get more media attention for WIN (www.perfectlines.nl). Besides that Linda is sponsored by www.protiedieet.nl , this is a high protein diet which helps to get rid of the extra pounds.
