Queen of the BeNeLux 2010...

On sunday 18th april the casting for the Queen of the Benelux the Netherlands took place in 't Vechthuys in Utrecht. Almost 100 girls wanted to be one of the dutch finalists for the first edition of the Queen of the Benelux beauty pageant. Nanny and Robin of MissHollandNow were two of the members of the jury. But also Miss Holland Now of the Year 2009 and 2008, Inger de Jonge and Melanie de Laat had the honor of being a member. Inger is offcourse the current Queen of the Netherlands.

Miss Holland Now 2007 Milou Verhoeks is the francise holder for all the four titles in the pageant: Queen of Belgium, Queen of the Netherlands, Queen of Luxemburg and Queen of the Benelux. Like last year Milou liked all the girls and was very lucky to have about 10 members in the jury otherwise there would be 100 dutch finalists.

There will be 20 finalists, yesterday 17 were selected and photographed by Robin. When we have all the names and photos the poll will be open! 

Queen Finalists on 3FM...

Every sunday 1 or 2 Queen of the Benelux finalists will be on air at radio 3FM. The listeners can call the girls and ask them question about the pageant and themselves. Yesterday Sabrina and Karin (see photo) were the first two to be on air.

Belgian casting...

Yesterday there was a casting in Belgium for the belgian girls. Three dutch girls were also casted as dutch finalists. One of these 3 is Alyssa Cratsborn who was a dutch finalist at the Miss BeNeLux pageant last year. She is the second girl from that pageant as Dian Biemans is also a finalist at this years Queen of the Benelux pageant.

Two girls left the pageant and so we have 20 finalists agian. We hope to show you the remaining finalists soon.
