In 1990, 1991, 1992 and 1993 the official Miss Holland commity did not have a Miss Holland pageant but chose a girl to represent the Netherlands at the Miss International and the Miss Europe pageant. In 1994 the Miss Universe Netherlands organisation took over the Miss Holland title.
